The Ghana bicycle market system is well-functioning with high levels of bicycle demand across much of the country (particularly in the north), suppliers located across the country offering bicycles to meet that demand, and a system of widely available spare parts and services to maintain bicycles after purchase. Although official policies have generally not promoted bicycle use, market actors face few sector-specific restrictions.

Information on oral intake during labour, or intrapartum care practices in general is scarce to non-existent across Sub-Saharan Africa and other low-to-middle-income regions. In Ghana, the National Reproductive Health Service Policy and Standards (2014) outlined the primary objective of care during labour, which is to ensure safe delivery of the newborn; with a specific objective being to minimize stress for the mother and baby during delivery.
FRI proposed to strengthen the local radio capacities and agricultural content that is broadcasted to the farmers at critical stages of agricultural production. FRI worked with other consortium partners that have developed content for farmer training to package the content for radio as well as to identify local agriculture experts for question-and-answer sessions.
The WHO further recommends that mothers of SSNBs should be appropriately supported to provide exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) or alternative feeding (expressed breast milk, donor breast milk or formula), and that clinically stable preterm newborns should receive kangaroo mother care (KMC) (a package of early and continuous skin-to-skin contact, breastfeeding support, timely discharge, and post-discharge follow-up) to encourage breast milk feeding.

The Agresearch Lead team conducted a market research study to understand the market dynamics of the shea butter, cocoa butter, and the Black soap industry in the northern and southern part of Ghana. The team looked at the production capacities, certification, and mode of operations of these industries in Ghana.
